Major new improvements are coming to Ring security cameras: 24/7 video recording is included!

Ring updates its security cameras
Ring, the company that deals with security and home security cameras specifically, is gearing up to offer its customers new features that support its security cameras, yet at the same cost price for the devices. These technologies are meant to provide user with more detailed picture of what is happening around their property.

Security innovation for increased security
The first of these new features is “24/7 video recording”. The Ring cameras will require constant video recording for up to 2 weeks, thanks to Ring’s new update. This feature will be initially supported in the Ring Stick Up Cam and Stick Up Cam Pro, Indoor Cam 2nd Gen, and Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam products but will be only available for Ring Plus; Ring costs $19.99 monthly.

Next, the “Doorbell Calls” feature means that a user will be able to answer the doorbell at a door as if answering a call on a phone, all the time witnessing the doorbell camera image. This service will be available with all Ring Video Doorbells.

Last but not least, with the “Video Preview Alerts” new push notifications will include a short video clip to help you decide whether you want to open the Ring app to see a feed or talk to the person on the other side.

Features that buyers get from November
All of these new features will start being released this month and should be completely implemented by November 5. The 24/7 continuous recording will only be useful to those willing to pay for Ring’s top-shelf service which is a good thing as it brings Ring’s service offering in line with rivals Arlo and Nest.

Hence, of the advances made of these, new users will use video preview alerts and doorbell calls most frequently because they will benefit the most.

These new features help make Ring one of the top choices when it comes to home security cameras, offering a full range of options to meet the security needs of all users.
