After what appears to be the official renderings of the onePlus 9 colours, Pete Lau, the boss of OnePlus has just released the first official photos of The OnePlus 9. So we invite you to discover the six official colors of the smartphone as well as the first images of the advertising campaign.
New renderings of The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro have just surfaced via the twitter account of the well-informed Ishan Argawal. After discovering last week the wisest colors (black, silver, and green), Ishan Argawal introduces us to three new colors that would be called Stellar Black (mat black), Arctic Sky (sky blue) and Winter Mist (pastel purple):

We notice an immediate detail, thanks to the pictures of the slice of smartphones. The first three models do not have a mark indicating the location of the antennas on the chassis, while these the case of the following three smartphones. The mark of the antennas on the chassis betrays the use of metal that blocks the waves. Conversely, if these brands disappear, it means that OnePlus will have opted for a material that is probably less premium, but transparent to the waves.
One of these materials is polycarbonate,a plastic that remains widely used in mid-range smartphones. In addition to being cheaper to manufacture and integrate, polycarbonate is much more robust than glass and does not break, which is a guarantee of durability. So we deduce that the colors matte black, silver and green will be exclusive to the Pro models, while the others will be reserved for the basic OnePlus 9.

In addition, Ishan Argawal explains that the OnePlus 9 will have a completely flat screen, while the Pro models will have very slightly curved edges. The OnePlus 9 is scheduled to be presented at an online event on March 23, 2021. The base model is expected to carry a 6.5″ 120 Hz AMOLED FHD display, while the Pro model will feature a larger 6.67″ screen with the same refresh rate.
Both devices will be among the first under Snapdragon 888 and are expected to be available in variations with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. OnePlus plans to shine in pictures this year thanks to a new partnership with Hasselblad. The OnePlus 9 is expected to carry two 45MP sensors into its main module. The OnePlus 9 would have a quadruple module 48 – 50 – 8 – 2 MP.
Shortly after the leak went live, Pete Lau, CEO of the brand, released a series of official photos, which are likely to be part of the first advertising campaigns:
