Xiaomi has just lifted the veil on Redmi Note 10, the Redmi Note 10 5G, the Redmi Note 10S as well as the Redmi Note 10 Pro. This new generation of mid-range smartphones stands out with 120 Hz or 90 Hz AMOLED displays, Qualcomm chips, massive 33W fast-charging batteries and multi-sensor cameras, including a 108-megapixel module. We’re up to everything we need to know.
As expected, Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 10 as part of a presentation organized for the international market. In Europe, the manufacturer offers the range in four models: the Redmi Note 10, the Redmi Note 10 5G, the Redmi Note 10S and the Redmi Note 10 Pro. In India, Xiaomi also offers an even more premium Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. This model has not been announced for Europe. On the other hand, the Note 10 Pro takes its features, such as the 108-megapixel main sensor.
On the design side, the range does not revolutionize the genre. On smartphones, there is a screen found surrounded by thin borders. As always, the lower edge (the famous chin) is thicker. At the back, Xiaomi has all the sensors in a rounded block. Unsurprisingly, smartphones have very different technical records. More affordable, the standard model ignores several features built into the Redmi Note 10 Pro.

The Redmi Note 10 and Note 10S
The Redmi Note 10 and 10S models are very similar on their technical scorecards. Both are equipped with a 6.43-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Like the Pro, they are available in three colors and have a fingerprint sensor on the side. Regarding the photo, we have modules with four sensors: a wide angle of 8 megapixels, a macro and a depth sensor of 2 megapixels and especially a main sensor of 64 megapixels that promises a lot for the 10S and 48 megapixels for the 10.
Both phones have 64 or 128GB of memory and a 5000 mAh battery with 33 Watts of fast charging. To see a difference between the two products, you have to look at the side of the photo, but especially the processor. The Redmi Note 10 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 while the 10S version offers a slightly more powerful MediaTek Helio G95.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro
The Redmi Note 10 Pro is equipped with a 6.67-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, allowing for greater screen fluidity for maximum visual comfort. Inside, we find a qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor, modest but sufficient, as well as a battery of 5020 mAh. It’s compatible with the 33 Watts fast charging.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro
There are also 6 or 8GB of RAM and a capacity ranging from 64 to 128GB depending on the model. The photo sensor is a bit like the Mi 11 and offers interesting things on paper. It houses a 108-megapixel main sensor that promises a high-performance night mode as well as interesting features like time-laps or long-laying. That of the very classic, but always appreciable.
The Redmi Note 10 5G, the only 5G smartphone in the range
Finally, the latest smartphone in the range is the Redmi Note 10 5G. As the name suggests, it is compatible with the new 5G networks thanks to its MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. But that’s not the only difference with other models.
The Redmi Note 10 5G
It features a 6.5-inch LCD screen in Full HD with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It has a 5000 mAh battery (with a fast charge of 18 Watts) and 64 or 128GB of memory. On the photo side, we have three sensors, one of which is 48 megapixels.
On the software side, smartphones run on MIUI 12, an Android interface based on Android 11. In the coming months, Xiaomi will roll out the MIUI 12.5 update, a new version of the overlay, on the Redmi Note 10.
