Galaxy A52 and A72: leak reveals design and fact sheet before announcement

The Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72, Samsung’s next two mid-range, reveal themselves in a new leak. Hours before the official announcement, a reputable informant posted visuals showing the design of the two phones. The leaker also confirms several points of the technical record of the two terminals.

This Monday, March 15, 2021, Evan Blass, famous leaker of the smartphone galaxy, released several official images showing the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72. “I’ve collected images of all the color variants that should be available at launch, as well as some marketing images showing the main selling points,” explains Evan Blass.

Visually, the two mid-range smartphones are similar. On the front, there is a perforated screen. The borders around the touch slab appear rather thick, especially the lower edge, the famous chin. This is no wonder on mid-range oriented phones. On the back side, Samsung houses the various photo sensors in a rectangular block that emerges slightly from the structure.

Samsung promises 2 days of battery life on Galaxy A52 and A72

Marketing images released by Evan Blass confirm that both smartphones are IP67 certified. They can withstand a dip in the water at a depth of one metre for 30 minutes and withstand splashes and dust. An image, apparently intended for Samsung’s website, confirms the presence ofa Super AMOLED Full HD display on both variants. The A52 is built around a 6.5-inch slab, compared to 6.7 inches for the A72.

The A52 has a battery life of 4500 mAh. For its part, the A72 is powered by a 5000 mAh battery. Thanks to this hardware, Samsung promises up to days of battery life with a single charge. On the photography side, Samsung relies on a camera composed of 5 lenses. The A72 has a 3X optical zoom, absent from the A52. The leak reveals the complete technical sheet of the A52 5G camera. It has a 64-megapixel main lens, a 5-megapixel macro sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra wide-angle module, and a lens to measure the depth of 5-megapixel fields.

Finally, the Seoul giant offers 128GB of internal storage (extendable up to 1TB with a Micro SD card) and 6GB of RAM. For the record, Samsung will present the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 starting Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. What do you think of this new generation of Galaxy A?
