The Nubia Z20 is finally available in France: the smartphone offers an amazing solution to make the borders disappear. All sensors are in the back – and to make using the device more convenient, especially for taking selfies, the Z20 has a second AMOLED display.

Looking for a state-of-the-art and original smartphone? We recommend the Nubia Z20 successor to the ZTE Nubia X. The smartphone was launched a few months ago in China. Its designers wanted a borderless camera. To achieve this, other manufacturers have redoubled tricks with more or less convincing results: punch, notch reduced in the shape of a drop, or popup camera…
Nubia engineers thought the problem was “out of the box” to find a new solution: completely cover the front with a huge AMOLED 6.42″ screen and integrate a second screen at the back still AMOLED but 5.1″ under the photo sensors. The main photo sensor also serves as a high-quality selfie sensor. Apart from this originality, we are on a particularly muscular machine.
Borderless, two screens, top performance
The Nubia Z20 features a Snapdragon 855 engraved in 7 nm, 8GB of RAM LPDDR4X, 128GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage, and two fingerprint sensors, one on each slice. The triple photo sensor consists of a 1/2.25″ 48 Mpx sensor (Sony IMX586) f/1.7 with 0.8m photosites and OIS, a 16MP wide-angle sensor (122.2 degrees) capable of taking macro at 2.5 cm and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 30x in digital zoom.
The set is powered by a particularly large battery of 4000 mAh, compatible with the fast charging 27W (Quick Charge 4.0). The smartphone is available in two colors, Twilight Blue and Diamond Black. Note that in the case of blue color, the screen is only really visible at the back when it displays something. Nubia offers this Android Pie smartphone with Nubia UI 7.0 overlay.
The Nubia Z20 is now available on Nubia’s official website from €499.
