Xiaomi announces that it has rolled out the update to MIUI 12 out of 31 smartphones in its catalog. In a post on Twitter, the Chinese brand unveils the complete list of phones that have already been able to install the new version of the Android overlay.

Xiaomi lifted the lid on MIUI 12, its new interface based on Android 11, last May. A few weeks later, the manufacturer launched the deployment of the update in stable version on smartphones compatible in successive waves.

Key features of the MIUI 12 update include a new permission system designed to protect users’ privacy, a new multi-tasking mode, a drastic energy-saving mode for an application drawer inherited from the Poco Launcher.
