T-Mobile confirms once again that the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 888processor, Qualcomm’s most powerful chip. It will be supported by 8 or 12GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of storage on both models.
The phones will both be powered by a 4500 mAh battery compatible with a 65W wired fast charging. The OnePlus 9 Pro will have the advantage of also being able to be recharged wirelessly at a power of 50W, like the Xiaomi Mi 11. This will allow it to regain its full autonomy in just 43 minutes.
The OnePlus 9 Pro screen will be excellent
T-mobile also unveils the technical features of the OnePlus 9 Pro screen, which had already been announced by OnePlus. It will have a 6.7-inch QHD display (3216 x 1440 pixels) AMOLED compatible with LTPO technology. This allows it to vary its refresh rate from 1 Hz to 120 Hz depending on the content displayed. It will also support 10-bit color depth, and will be able to display more than a billion colors. Finally, it will offer a maximum brightness of 1300 nits and will be compatible HDR10 and MEMC. The OnePlus 9’s 6.55-inch screen is a little more modest. In fact, it will have to settle for an FHD definition (2400 x 1080 pixels), and will not be compatible with LTPO technology.
On the photo side, both smartphones will have a similar configuration. They will both have a 48MP main sensor, accompanied by a 50MP ultra wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. However, the OnePlus 9 Pro will have the advantage of offering a fourth 8MP telephotosensor, which will allow a 3.3X optical zoom. Finally, as was already the case last year, both phones will have a 16MP selfie camera. This will be housed in a small punch at the top left of the screen.
Although we already know the entire technical sheet of smartphones, we will unfortunately have to wait for the official presentation scheduled tomorrow to learn more about the prices of OnePlus 9R, OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro.
