OnePlus 9R: OnePlus makes its high-end smartphone more than 500 euros

The OnePlus 9R was formalized in conjunction with the presentation of the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. This is a more affordable smartphone that does not benefit from the new collaboration between the brand and Hasselblad. It is also only planned for an outing in China and India.

The OnePlus 9R is the budget version of the new OnePlus 9 range. It was not formalized during the conference dedicated to this line and for good reason, it is only intended for the Indian and Chinese market. That doesn’t stop him from being very interesting. It obviously takes up the new design of the 9 series, with this photo sensor at the top left and its chic appearance, available in two colors (grey and blue). Note that, unlike the other two models, it is not Hasselblad who takes care of the photo part here.

It is equipped with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display in FHD with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Inside, we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor (5G compatible), which is pretty strong, with 8 or 12GB of RAM depending on the model. The battery is 4500 mAh and the smartphone has a fast charging of 65 Watts. In fact, it is very reminiscent of the OnePlus 8T, released only a few months ago.

The 9R does not benefit from Hasselblad’s work

For the photo part, it will be necessary to make a cross on the know-how of Hasselblad. It is on this segment that OnePlus has trimmed for its 9R. It is equipped with a photo module with 4 sensors: a 48-megapixel main, a 16-megapixel ultra wide angle, a 5-megapixel macro sensor and monochrome.
