The latter is integrated with the Opera’s developed AI assistant Aria.
As a spin-off of the web giant based in Norway, Opera One was introduced last year and the desktop version in particular has proved very popular. Today, we are happy to share with you that Opera One has been officially launched for iOS devices.
An experience for mobile As we develop a variety of experiences for one of the screens available, the screen most used and relied on is the mobile screen.
As it emulates the look of the desktop version, this mobile browser doesn’t take the usage of full screen to another level, especially when used on the go. The new Opera One has been designed to grasp the opportunities in the new regulatory environment, primarily after the enactment of the DMA which led to a 63% boost in new consumer traffic all over the EU.
Intuitive and customizable features
To enhance the usability, someone suggested that, “The search bar can be placed at the lower part of the screen” something that is quite useful if the user is on the move and wishes to enter queries.. Full URLs are proposed as soon as typing starts and a series of predictive bullets are shown as well. The color used for the navigation and search bar correlates with the site being visited hence making it enjoyable to the eye.
An innovative voice assistant
Other components of Opera One are, for instance, the integrated navigation assistant Aria of which the most recent implementation is voice input. ‘This lets the users say their queries aloud.’ Besides, Aria will be able to generate images via Google’s Imagen2 image generation model.
Safety first
And following the Opera’s mission to enhance user safety, “the One iOS browser has an ad blocker and a free VPN.” Opera thus remains loyal to its user base and progresses with innovations.
