Realme Book, 1st notebook of the brand, brings Intel 11th generation and 2K screen

Realme is known in various parts of the world for its smartphones, but also wants to be remembered when it comes to laptop. That’s why, on Wednesday (18), the company made the official announcement of The Realme Book, which brings compact body, screen with 2K resolution and Intel Core processor 11th generation. This is the first notebook of the brand. For its debut in this market, Realme opted for an ultra-thin and minimalist design. The result is a laptop with a sober and elegant look, but that, at least in the gray version, resembles a little macbook air line — the Realme Book is also available in blue color.

The screen is one of the most interesting items of the model. The panel is IPS LCD type, has 14 inches in size and 2K resolution (2160×1440 pixels). Also note that the panel has 3:2 format and, with this, makes good use of the front space.

To command the equipment, the user can opt for an Intel Core i3-1115G4 dual-core chip or a quad-core Intel Core i5-1135G7, both 11th generation, as already reported.

The notebook also has 8 GB of LPDDR4x memory, but the frequency varies by processor: 3,733 MHz in versions with Core i3; 4,266 MHz on core i5 units.

Storage is on account of a 256 GB or 512 GB SSD, while the battery is the same for all versions: a 54 Wh unit accompanied by a fast 65 W charger.

The other features include two USB-C ports, a USB 3.1 type A (conventional) port, USB4/ Thunderbolt 4 connection in versions with Core i5, digital player on the power button and 720p webcam.

The manufacturer draws attention to PC Connect, which allows the user to connect a compatible Realme phone to the laptop for quick content transfer.

Although Realme phones are already sold in Brazil, there is no forecast for the launch of Realme Book in the country. It is known that initially the model will be marketed in India and China from the end of August, but the arrival to other markets is not ruled out.

In the Indian market, suggested prices, when converted to real, range from R$ 3,388 (Core i3, 8 GB of RAM and SSD of 256 GB) to R$ 4,325 (Core i5, 8 GB of RAM and SSD of 512 GB).
