In 2020, Samsung created a surprise by announcing the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition. More affordable than other models in the range, the S20 FE stands out thanks to its 120 Hz AMOLED display, a triple photo sensor, a SoC Exynos 990, and a battery life of up to one and a half days, better than the standard S20. The smartphone was priced at 659 euros when it was launched in France.
For Samsung, it wasn’t just a one shot aimed at giving a boost to its mobile division. The South Korean manufacturer aims to launch a Galaxy S21 Fan Edition (FE) later this year. Evan Blass, a famous informant, has published the official release schedule of the brand’s upcoming devices on his Voice page.

Samsung to launch Galaxy Tab S7 Lite and Galaxy A22 5G
It reveals that the launch date of the Galaxy S21 FE is scheduled for Thursday, August 19, 2021. This is consistent with Samsung’s ad habits. Last year, however, Samsung waited until September to announce the S20 FE. Several months before the specified date, the manufacturer can always upset its plans.
The calendar revealed by Evan Blass also shows thatan event called “PC Unpacked” is scheduled for April 14. Unsurprisingly, Samsung is expected to unveil new computers. In June, the Seoul-born giant will then launch a more affordable version of its hit Galaxy Tab S7, the Tab S7 Lite. According to the schedule, the manufacturer has not yet stopped on a specific date.
Finally, the calendar also reveals the arrival on the market of a Galaxy A22 5G. According to the leaks, this mid-range would be sold under the 200 euro mark. Note that the leak does not mention Galaxy Note 21. As expected, Samsung is expected to skip the Galaxy Note this year.
