The next entry-level Kindle leaks in a UK store

A new Kindle coming soon
Taking a more detailed look at the changes in the customer base, a big surprise comes from the United Kingdom. The high-end retail chain John Lewis briefly displayed a product that attracted a lot of interest: a new Kindle but not known untill now by the owners of the new article. Unfortunately, the ad is no longer available, but Good Ereader and The Verge have screenshot it and mention the device’s properties.

Notable improvements
Amazon has described this as the 12th generation Kindle as the lightest and most compact of all the models. Small in size, it has six inches display with pixel density of 300 ppi, it also has 16GB internal memory as pointed out by the retailer. Other notable improvements:

75 percent brightness higher than the earlier models.
Better contrast
Faster page turns
It also brings a new dark mode option that flips the colors in the e-ink display on both models.

Features for every taste
Don’t like reading, you say? That’s perfectly okay, you can always have your books read to you. New generation of the Kindle lets you to use Audible and connect your Headphones or Speakers through Bluetooth.

There is even a children’s version being in preparation.
Besides this basic version, John Lewis has also offered children’s edition too. Similar in every aspect except the exterior and it has a colorful casing and an included six-month trial of Amazon Kids+. If one wants to remain using children’s books, videos and games after this period, they will be charged $6 on monthly basis.

The 12th generation Kindle will come with a price tag of £95 ($124), which is £10 more than the last model. What about the children’s version, the retailer has priced it at £115 ($150).
