ZTE Axon 20 5G: the first smartphone with camera under the screen arrives on September 1st 20th…

ZTE will be the first to draw his smartphone with a camera under the screen. The product has not yet been officially unveiled, but the manufacturer has already announced the exit of the terminal for September 1st.

ZTE will be the first manufacturer to market a smartphone with a camera under the screen. The Chinese firm proudly announced it in a teasing poster: the Axon 20 5G will be the first terminal on the market to offer this technology to the general public.

From the smartphone, we don’t know anything except rumors. ZTE simply stated that the product would be presented on September 1st at a “launch event.” The brand just highlights its technological peculiarity, but also shows some of its design. As we can see, the smartphone does not have an edge, not only notch, or even a punch.

Because that’s all the point of the AFN selfie under the screen: free up space to offer a full display. While manufacturers have learned to play with the front APN on their design, its presence remains a given that needs to be dealt with. With such technology, this concern fades.

A long-awaited innovation

Manufacturers have been trying for some time to eliminate the frontal AFN. Asus and Oppo, for example, chose the retractable photo module with the Zenfone 6 and Reno 2. Xiaomi is looking for leads on its side, filing patents in this direction. The manufacturer had even announced the upcoming release of a terminal with APN under the screen. Finally, it will be ZTE that will grill him the priority, except big surprise.

According to the leaks, the ZTE Axon 20 5G should carry a 6.92-inch OLED display without any frills and a definition of 2460 x 1080 pixels. There is also an APN under the 32-megapixel screen, a 64-megapixel photo module at the rear, an unknown SoC with a maximum speed of 2.4 Ghz, 12GB of RAM and a 4120 mAh battery. As the name suggests, the smartphone will be 5G compatible. We must now wait until September 1st to discover the terminal in its entirety.
