The Xiaomi Mi Band 7 may soon be launched in the global market. This week, Xiaomi’s new smartband and other new devices passed homologation in countries in Asia and Europe. According to information from Digital Chat Station, the Mi Band 7 will be assembled in huami factories, while the other products will be under the responsibility of Xiaomi itself.
Among the highlights of the Mi Band 7 is the 1.56-inch screen with AMOLED panel of 490 x 192 pixels resolution. The product description indicates that the display will have “always-on” technology, which allows you to display important information constantly, without consuming too much battery.
Speaking of battery, the new generation smartband will have a range of 250 mAh — double the capacity found in the Mi Band 6. In the previous model, Xiaomi promised up to 14 days of direct use. Therefore, this estimate is likely to increase when Mi Band 7 is officially revealed.
Another big novelty expected for the updated smartband model is the built-in GPS feature. This should allow Mi Band 7 users to record routes on the map while walking or running without using a smartphone.
The accessory can also receive blood oxygenation meter and modes adapted for specific activities such as aerobic exercises or zumba, for example.
According to leaks, the Mi Band 7 will still have a smart alarm that will wake users 30 minutes before the scheduled time if it is in the light sleep phase.
For now, there is no release forecast or price for the Mi Band 7. As the previous model had its debut in March last year, it shouldn’t be long before Xiaomi unveil the new smartband.
Xiaomi prepares new headset and smartwatch
In addition to listing the approval of the Mi Band 7, digital chat station displays certificates of other Xiaomi products that have not yet been released. From the looks of it, the Chinese manufacturer is preparing a new completely wireless headset (TWS) and a watch with “high-capacity battery”.
There are no details about these two products yet, such as name, release date, or price.
